Any application received after the deadline will have to pay an additional $50 application fee. Also any application received after the deadline is not guaranteed to be listed in the parade program along with will not be allowed to be judged to compete.

Locate your Parade Entry Application .pdf document on your computer and open it to begin filling out the form fields. Please use a PDF Reader Software like Adobe Acrobat Reader not a web browser like Google Chrome because only a proper .pdf file reader can save the information you type in the form fields.
*Note: Remember to save document after filling it out along with if necessary reopen document after saving to make sure all your information is there.
Step 3: Send Application
Please use Send Application Form to send your application digitally however if you have a problem with the form you can send the Parade Entry Application .pdf document attached to an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If emailing the application, please have the Entry Name, Contact Person, Phone Number and Email from the application in the email message.
Step 4: Pay Parade Entry Application Fee
Entry Fee is $25 for all applications except Commercial Vehicle which is $75 per a vehicle.
*Note: Marching Bands, the entry fee is waived so you only have to send an parade entry application.

What should I do if I am trying to send my application using the Send Application Form but it is not working?
The Send Application Form will not allow a file to be sent under the following conditions:
- The form fields are not properly filled out on the Send Application Form.
- The file being uploaded is not a PDF (.pdf) file.
- In the name when an extra period (.) is used it causes an error, please do not use a period in the naming of your file.
- Correct Naming: application1.pdf
- Incorrect Naming: application.1.pdf
- The file is too large, in data size it needs to be less than 5 MB.
These rules for the Send Application Form are necessary for the committee to receive the proper information with each application and to have strong security on the website.
I have a business vehicle but do not know if I should go with a Decorated Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Application, what is the classification for vehicles?
Here is a breakdown of what application to use when you parade entry is using a business vehicle.
Commercial Vehicle Application
- A vehicle that is bigger than the average-size car, van, or truck used in a business and has the business logo on it.
- Examples: Garbage Trucks, Construction Vehicles, Semi-Trucks, Transport Buses
Decorated Vehicle Application
- A vehicle that is equal or similar to an average-size car, van, or truck used in a business and has the business logo on it.
- Examples: Company Cars, Utility Vans, Work Trucks
If I prefer to mail my full application and check together instead of digitally sending the full application, can I do that?
We do prefer applicants to follow our steps with digitally sending the full application but it is allowed to mail everything together if that works best for an applicant. Please keep in mind that mailing everything takes longer to get to us while digitally sending the full application means we get it sooner and can thus give better placement in the parade line-up.
It is past the deadline but I want to be a part of the parade, what should I do?
The parade entry application process will still be available a few days after the deadline on the website. For any application received after the deadline there will be an additional $50 application fee added to the original fee. In the circumstance after the deadline where the parade entry application process is closed on the website, please call one of the Co-Chairs at: Scott Billeck 219-712-3908 or George Letz 219-916-2623. We can sometimes add parade entries after the deadline and when the parade entry application process has been closed on the website depending on the time of contact.
